Eve's Garden Review

Lunch at Eve's Garden, This one is a Birthday Treat to me by my two Aunt. Almost everybody is talking about this new and unique restaurant at ME 132 Upper Lamtang Road in La Trinidad that is a bit difficult to find.
We started the ride from the main city to the location of the restaurant it was a peacefull drive with lots of pine trees beside the road and fresh cool air, when we finally arrived luckilly we were the first expected guests of the day, The Owner Ms.Evelyn Greeted us, they presented the menu which is by the way different from any other resto's, why? because you only have to choose between Three, that is the Salmon, Chicken or Beef, its a three course meal, and you are assured that what your eating is healthy and chemical free considering Ms.Eve is a Nutritionist herself. This Restaurant has been so Popular because of its Famous Flower sallad, yup thats right! a flower sallad! it is served with a fresh lettuce. There are 11 varieties of macrobiotic lettuce offered at Eves Garden, Baguio straight from the garden of Eve.

For appetizer we started with the Famous Flower sallad served with fresh cool organic pineapple drink with mint and sage, bubbling at the rim of a gracefully shaped tall glass

I first took a piece of red flower and wrapped it in a lettuce then carefully dipped it in the sauce, the taste was awesome! its something you have never tasted before. you can really taste the flower.

after crunching and munching of flowers the Main Course was served its a chicken with pesto fettuccine, whole wheat bread, meat viand in sake, red rice with herbs and honey. i could not say anything negative on this as everything is served perfectly! The gourmet's presentation is superb!

while my Aunt's ordered a Salmon partnered with toasted capers, i tasted it too and i would say the same, its terrific!

We ended the Meal with a delicious dessert, Oatmeal Cake accompanied by ginger drink with ginseng.

The table arrangement is impressive,

you are lucky if Ms.Eve is there as you will recieve a few mins of tutoring on healthy foods, while she explains each course. the view from our sit is breath taking, looking down on the lush greenery of the forests.

After enjoying a little chit-chat with the Owner we were given permission to take a look on their garden, it was a beautiful sight, seeing all the Lettuce freshly grown in healthy soil beds, i wouldnt advice it tho to people who are suffering from leg pains as its a long climb going back to the top. :)

Note: You should contact the restaurant a week before eating there, its not a walk-in restaurant.
