Davids Teahouse Review

Finally got to try unique Chinese Food at Davids Teahouse t'was another dinner treat from my auntie judith.

The Ambience  of the place is okey, with large chinese lanterns on the ceiling, but the color should be red as it symbolizes the Color of China so more than Goldish yellow.

I accidentally ordered the Beef asado instead of the usual steamed chinese food.  i also got my all time favourite Loompiang Shanghai, with its sweet sauce and chili sauce.

The sweet and chili sauce gave the loompiang shanghai its perfect taste this one also differs as the rolls are full of meat. and I easily can eat the whole plate which is served in big servings . The wrap is crispy and dry and the taste just burst into your taste buds once u have a bite of it.
The deal is pretty good, so it's a good time to try a lot of flavor on the house.
Beef asado-Superb
Green Mango Shake- it was okey but needs a lot more sweetener so it wont be a bit sour
Loompiang Shanghai- Superb
Pechay- Its okey
Service Tea- Messy Presentation

Still this Place is a must try for chinese food lovers, i would suggest eating in it during regular days not saturdays and sundays as to avoid too much crowd!

50's Diner- Review

I had a really interesting dining experience in Baguio. We happened to sit at the 50’s Diner which, as the name suggests, features an ambience of the 50’s. It is also notable as being one of the earliest, popular restaurants in Baguio.

The ambience consists of 50’s movie posters framed in the wall, white round incandescent light fill the ceiling with red lights lining each corners,

The waiters wear clothes that of a sailor, Looks more like a Nurse tho.
For Refreshment,i ordered a Mango Shake, it tastes more of a nestle condense milk  than a ripe mango. but its probably Good for those people with sweeth tooths :)

However, the main course was most interesting: “Gangsta Gangsta”. This is something I have never had before, it was such a big Serving where in the restaurant is well known of,. The menu description included “THE SHE” which has the description of “Her Legs ,Her arms ,Her body” not mentioning what the meal contains Lol. Altogether, it sounded like a risky order.

I am pleased to report, that I could not have been more wrong. When the Gangsta Gangsta was served, its mainly a mix of a fried chicken, spring rolls,Chopsuey and rice topped with a sunny side up. It was tender, springy, flavored, and moist. The sauce from the Chopsuey was delicious.
And for Dessert, fresh Fruit cuts, served with a sweet cream. Not that impressive but nice presentation

While I highly recommend sampling as much traditional 50’s diner food as you can such as the Extra Large Burgers called 50’s burger, I found 50’s diner a perfect place to have a remarkable dining experience considering Huge proportions of food coming in Affordable Prices. If you are in Baguio for a few days, give it a try. I find myself wanting more..
